Congratulations on your decision to work with IC. You have taken the first step to becoming one of the best Webcam Hosts/Hostesses on the internet!

Being a Webcam Host is not for everyone.

• You need certain skills and talents, all of which will be explained within this guide.
• To become a top earning Host, it is important that you read this guide completely.
• Take your time to learn everything within and ask questions to your studio or crew leader about our rules and regulations if you are not sure about something.

CHAT RULES SUMMARY

• Models are required to provide service and quality to our clients by fulfilling the clients requests at all times. (even if the model is working on different web sites at the same time!)
• Each model has her/his/their own unique model account. So it’s not allowed to have other persons working on a solo/couple account if she/he/they don’t belong to that account!
• Pre-recorded video streaming is NOT allowed on our network.

In All Chats

1. NEVER EAT in front of the camera! Only if it is a member’s request in Private Chat.
2. NEVER give anyone your PERSONAL INFO (Home or Work Addresses, Phone Numbers or Email Addresses).
3. NEVER pretend that you can or will MEET any member in REAL LIFE – NO exceptions.
4. NEVER ask members for MONEY.
5. During your work/shifts, ALWAYS speak ENGLISH.
6. NOT ALLOWED in front of camera: animals (pets), person under the 18 years including baby’s, visible pregnant women and/or persons not belonging to your account!
7. NO visible menstruation when you are online.
8. NEVER USE or exchange the existing or unused account of someone else.
9. NEVER Perform with another person if your account is used only as Single Account.
10. NO DRUGS or illicit substance considered to be illegal.
11. NO SELF- MUTILATION! This will not be allowed no matter in what form or nature.

In Free/Member Chat

1. NO NUDITY of any kind ALLOWED (except when the model receives a tip for a nudity performance)
2. Once ACCEPTING TIPS, models are REQUIRED TO PERFORM the given TIP performance!
3. NO TRANSPERANT LINGERIE (bra or panties), no fishnet clothes (unless bra and panties are under it), No mini bikini’s which show pussy lips, no body makeup.
4. NO fingers/toys/objects under the panties.
5. NO FREE SHOWS!
6. DO NOT IGNORE MEMBERS who are chatting. This includes FREE members.
7. Never point or zoom the camera on certain body parts like your pussy or breasts only.

In Nude Chat

1. NUDITY is required at ALL TIMES during your nude session. (the models genitals should be visible nude)
2. SCAT (poo) shows are NOT ALLOWED.
3. DO NOT IGNORE any MEMBERS who are chatting.
4. Try to fulfill all requests to the best of your ability.

Acting Vs. Modeling

We have Quality Control people constantly monitoring the open rooms. They will appear in chat with the name QControl or Supervisor and RED colour.

We have seen many Webcam Hosts complaining to their customers about how slow it is or how cheap they are.  Some even sit there looking bored and sad. Who in their right mind is going to spend $4 or $6 per minute on a girl/guy that is sitting there all angry and upset? You have to act, and it has to be a perfect performance. The customers cannot know you are upset or feeling down.

USING PRIVATE 1ON1 SYSTEM

How to logon to the Private 1on1 Chat System

Type in the URL (internet website address), given to you by your contact person.
You will see the following screen.

When you start each shift, you must fill in your model name and password and click on: “Click here to log in”

Tip: Don’t forget to tag/select the checkbox to agree with chat rules and regulations. (Circled red in above diagram)

In this example we used the modelname: “SysoX” but normally this is Betty, Belinda or whatever modelname has been given to you or created with you.

On the next pages: We will describe step by step what pops up after logging in.

First tag/select one or more languages that you speak from the list at the top.  You can tag a maximum of 4 languages.  It is important that you ONLY tag languages which you can speak fluently.  On the websites, your chosen languages will be displayed by flags representing your chosen languages.

This makes it easier for the members to find and to select models who speak the same language.  Please note that the English language is mandatory in member and nude chat.  English is the most spoken language and therefore a higher number of members can follow the conversation.  Secondly tag/select the actions you will perform.

Toys are by default set to YES.  Please note, if you check these actions you need to perform them because this is displayed and advertised on the website to all members.  For example, if you don’t do “Watersports” then don’t tag/select it.  Members do look for certain acts and they will file complaints if they discover that you do not do the act(s) that you advertise.

On this page there are 2 buttons left:

MEMBER and PRIVATE CHAT (1)
NUDE CHAT ONE TO MANY (2)

Normally, when you start your shift you start with the MEMBER AND PRIVATE CHAT.  This chat is a public conversation, and you should always try to involve as many members in your chat as you can.  More members in your chat means more private sessions for you.

Newsflash

It is advised that you always click on “Newsflash” before you enter the 1on1 system.  This will popup the window shown below.

Flags

When you click on the flags, you can change the language of the pages to “your native language.”  You can also fill in the information in your own language which we will translate later for you.  Of course, when your English is good enough, please fill in all the English text, as this saves translations.

Your Earnings

Here you can see your earnings for your current shift. For a complete overview and selectable timeframes, go to “Newsflash”.
Also after every “end session” a popup will appear in pink.

Your Homepage

Here you can describe and change information displayed about yourself.  Take the time to fill it in with care!  You will be prompted every 2 weeks to change your homepage info so that your profile is always up to date.

Please note that all of these items are displayed on the websites and members will often read this before chatting with you.  For example, if you don’t love Chinese food than don’t put it in.  The members may ask you about it.  By default your profile already has some information in it, so be sure to overwrite this so that it tells everyone more about YOU!  You can also change your password to log into the Private 1on1 system here.  Keep in mind that your real name is NOT displayed on the websites.

Your Online Schedule

There is no better way to promote yourself than by letting your members know when you are online.  If possible, plan your working times far ahead and take care that your schedule is up-to-date.  If you forget to fill your schedule and you are going online, the system will prompt you to fill in your schedule.  This is because the system knows your schedule is not correct.

Keep in mind that your schedule is displayed on the websites pages for the members to see.  Normally a shift from a webcam host is 8 hours so the system needs at least an 8 hour shift.

EasySender Email

Every webcam host will receive her own email address where she can send and receive e-mails to.  This email looks something like this modelname.mail@easysender.com.  This is done automatically when a new modelname is added to the system.

The default password is given by you in the signup email.  You will need to change your password the first time you logs into EasySender.com and replace it with your own private password.  Sometimes your password is the same as what you have been given when you signed up to become a model.  Your crew leader will let you know your EasySender password together with your login details.

It is important to understand that the best webcam hosts keep in touch regularly by email with the members.  It is about getting to know the customer and building online relationships (virtual of course) with them.  In this way they feel and stay attracted to you. Emailing your members is a great marketing tool, use it.

If you have lost your www.easysender.com password, you can fill in your personal email address and get your email password sent to you.  The EasySender system also allows you to put answers to secret questions as a reminder to only you.

From the “Newsflash” pop-up you are able to access your EasySender emails immediately without typing in the URL.  From here it shows you whenever you have any new emails.

Note: For security and marketing reasons, never use your private email address to communicate with the members.  Always use your modelname.mail@easysender.com email address.

Shop

On www.camsathome.com and all other related websites, customers can buy you a present from our online shop.  We use the Newsflash pop-up to inform you if there are shop orders pending.  If you do not receive the shop order within 7 days, contact your Studio or Crew leader to find out what is the status of the delayed item(s).

Once you have received your present, you will be prompted to send a “Thank you message” to the member directly from your console.  A notification is also sent to the InterClimax shop and support department.

Kicking/Muting

If members are abusive or creating problems in your chat, we have given you a menu with ways to remove these members.
Use this ONLY when you absolutely need to.  If you “right click” with your mouse on a member’s name (username), you will have a little menu where you have following options:

Whisper: This option is not used and will be grayed out. Whois: This option is used to get further information on the selected member. Ignore: You will not see messages from the selected member. Mute: Block this member from sending messages in your chat.

With the next step, click the Newsflash popup away

From the moment you click the MEMBER and PRIVATE CHAT:

You are now LIVE and ONLINE.

This will immediately stream your video and audio to the website for members to visit your room – Get ready!

The screen clearly indicates that you are in Member Chat so you can chat away and tease the customers to take you private.
Tease the members, but NEVER ask them to take you into a private session.  This can seem greedy to some members and can scare them off.

If you keep looking good and tease the members with a nice chat, you will see they will take you private soon enough.

At the top of the chat screen, there are 3 links

End Session

If you want to end your shift for whatever reason, click this button.  It will bring you back to the login screen.
If you need to take a break and leave the screen – ALWAYS end session first.  There is nothing more annoying for a customer than to enter an empty chat room. He comes to see YOU, not your empty bed or couch.

Reload Page

If the video picture looks strange or other strange things occur, the best thing to do is try to click the RELOAD button first.
If there are no members in your room, there is NO need to click this button.  There must be another reason. Only use this button in case of difficulties.

Your Earnings

Here you can see your earnings but only the earnings you made in this particular shift.  If you find you want to see a complete overview and also selectable timeframes, you can see this from the Newsflash and also after every “end session” a popup will appear in pink.

Chat colors from usernames

Members can enter into the chat with different colors.

Brown: This is a regular member with no special privileges.

Aqua: This is a heavy user.  A person who needs your special attention and usually spends a lot of money on his favorite models.  Be careful not to concentrate only on heavy users as you WILL miss out on Private sessions from regular users.

You will find the brown and the aqua members in Member, Private and Nude/Gang chat.

“Free” Members

Keep in mind they are potential customers.  It’s good to also speak to the white members even with the knowledge that they cannot type back to you.  When they become a member, they will remember the models that spoke to them and often visit your chat directly.  Now you have a new customer!  You will find this member only in the Member (public) chat.

Green: This is also a free member but he entered his email address and can chat for 24 hours.  Please keep in mind this is one of your potential customers and he has only 24 hours to become a real member.

There are also Guests and Exit members.

They come from our marketing programs including our Voyeur House and also from exit consoles. (A popup screen launched when somebody leaves a website).

These are your potential customers however, they can’t chat.

Please note: We have different payment methods for our customers.  Sometimes this affects usernames also.

What happens the moment a member takes you in a PRIVATE Session?:

At the bottom you will see “Private Session Active” with his Username and the money that he has in his virtual wallet.  Please do not pay TO MUCH attention to the amount of money shown.  A customer can always buy more Virtual Wallet money on the spot and come back to you to continue or make a new Private Session.

We have supplied an option to “Quickbuy” money when the member is having a Private Session with you.  Sometimes, a member will visit your chat with $2.00.  Let him spend this minute with you in private and be nice to him.  He might come back a couple of minutes or days later because he remembers your kindness and give you a longer Private Session.

Sometimes you will see the word “PREBUY” active in the bottom screen.  Prebuys are discount minutes which the member can buy but ONLY spend with you.  The customer can buy both NUDE and Private Prebuy minutes only to spend with you in the Nude/Private chat.

Of course, the best thing to do is let the member spend all of his Prebuy minutes with you at one time.  When the Private Session has ended, the system will take you offline for a minute to give you the chance to get dressed again before taking you back to the member chat.

Nude Chat

When you hit the “Nude Chat One to Many” button you will see following screen:

When you are in Nude Chat (also often called Gang Chat) you need to be naked at ALL times.  Never leave the room as once members come in they are paying for every minute they are in your room.  Keep in mind that when you switch from member to Nude chat, you need to wait 2 minutes (you will have a message which counts the minutes down).  This has been built into the system to give the members in Member Chat the opportunity to log-off so that they will not enter the nude chat by accident and get billed for it.

In the Nude Chat you can have a lot of members, the more the better.  As you probably have noticed, your price per minute is lower in Nude Chat.  This allows you to have more members in your chat and when you give them a show (DO NOT FORGET YOUR TOYS!), keep in mind that there is no point to enter into Nude Chat with only one member.  The more members the higher your earnings per minute.

Sometimes you will see the word PREBUY active in the bottom screen.  Prebuys are discount minutes, which members can buy ONLY to spend on you.

Tips

When a customer gives a tip, you will see a popup.  This will show the amount of the TIP and what performance is expected for this tip.  Also it will show the duration of the TIP.

You must click on “accept” and then perform the requested tip (for example: show tits).  If you don’t click “accept” you will not receive the tip!  Also Support crew will receive a notice by email.  Denying tips is not polite!  Unless you cannot perform the request you should never decline a TIP, however; you do have the option to do so.

For more expensive or sensitive TIPS like “show tits” there is also a time limit given, for example, a minimum of 30 to maximum 60 seconds.  This way you know what you need to do for how long.

SMS Chat

In all chatscreens, Member, Private and Nude Chats, you see a button flashing in the bottom screen – “Waiting for SMS”.
The customers can send SMS messages to your chat screen from their mobile phones.
When a member clicks this button, he can send an SMS to you.

Once an SMS is received by your PC, a tiny chat screen will appear

You can now type a short message back, it’s that simple.  You get paid for every answer you give to the member.  No “One word” answers please, make the member feel that you are communicating.  The more SMS ‘s you reply to, the more $ you will earn.

When you do NOT reply within 6 Minutes (and this is a very long time, even when you are doing a show) you will have the same message back after a while until a response on the message is sent.  When you are OFF LINE for more than 5 days, any messages will be replied by our Operator.

Please respond instantly to every SMS sent to you.  The member can use this to make a little appointment with you when he wants a private with you or use it as a secret whisper function.  You are the only one who can see this secret chat.

The history will be always displayed so you can not make mistakes with confusing with different members?so just do not let any one know just type him a quick message back.

Sometimes you won’t see a member name but “unknown.”  This is because you do not need to be a member to send an SMS to the model.  Even better with this you can make him a member.  What a few little nice words can do!

Check your Earnings Online

From the Newsflash or directly during your sessions, you can check every second and every Private or Nude Session you have made.  For more information read below.  Your contact person can also help you with this if you need further explaining.

You need to fill in your password once this screens pops up.

Note: From the Newsflash popup you can also select dates.

You can select different dates to see if you made progress and to see what you earned before.  What’s listed as “YOU” is the amount you should receive at the agreed period.

Heading Explanations

Private Minutes: Here you can see how much you have earned with Private Sessions.

Pre-buy: Pre-buy money is money that the customer has bought with a discount.  This is money is taken out of the customers virtual wallet and put in his pre-buy wallet as minutes.  The customer can ONLY use it for that specific model.

The model/studio will receive the amount that was bought as a payout, however if a customer does not use all his minutes these minutes will be refunded back in his virtual wallet each week.

Please note that it can happen that a model/studio has money refunded however she has already received the money and the customer did not use it so we had to give it back.  This will ONLY happen if the Model has NOT worked for longer than 5 days!!

Tip: These are the tips the model has received.

0900 Login: Members who did perform a 0900 phone signup or load their virtual wallets with the telephone pay $0.50 per chat session.  So they also pay in Member Chat once per login.

Dialer Minutes: If people use the dialer to come on the website they pay as long as they are online.  InterClimax doesn’t use dialers very much.

Phone2enter: People can use the phone to enter option.  This is like the dialer they need to call a special number and as long they leave the hook of the phone they are charged.

SMS Chat: Every model can receive SMS’s in her chat screen.  This is a separate chat.  Payments here are depending on the Telecom provider the members is using to send the SMS.

Private archive: When a model is offline for more than 5 days, her Private Archives become available.  The member can go to the Off-line Models section of the website and the member can buy back his private session as a movie.  The movie will be stored in his “My Camsathome” section and he can watch his Private Session including audio and chat log.  He will only have audio and chatlog if it was his own Private Session.  This is for privacy reasons.

Gross Sales: This is the total amount (Minutes, Pre-buy, Tip, Phone LC etc.) together.

IP: IP is the calculation of the cost for webmasters.  Webmasters are brokers who send us traffic and receive a payout for their referrals. (See CamsCash.com or AmsterdamCash.com or InterClimax.com)

Back Refunds: This is a percentage of the refunds and charge backs that we have received from the previous period.  A refund is money that we or the billing company have credited back to a customers credit card.  Reasons can include that the member was not satisfied with the service.  It can also be fraud caught by our Customer Services department and will process this transaction as a refund to avoid a Charge Back from the credit card companies.  A charge back is money that we have to give back to the credit card company.

The owner of the credit card has to request this in writing to the credit card company.

Note: Percentages can change each month!! Billing companies will change their billing fees once in a while. We will always keep you posted in case of any changes.

PR Fee: This is the processing fee that we have to pay to the billing companies for billing the credit cards for us and the 0900 and the direct debit and all other payment options we offer our customers.

Please Note: As IC does add payment options in different countries, it’s possible you see sometimes a new description or a new statement.  Also we do take away payment options or features.  Of course with every update of the welcome pack we will update the above list also.

HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS THAT WORK

Always remember that you are giving a live performance for the benefit of the person(s) who is watching you online, therefore:

• Always smile and try to laugh often. Looking directly into the camera is also very good for more personal contact.
• Your homepage has a gallery of pictures, which are taken every 5 minutes you are online. Members will check these pictures to see how you are performing. If they see you in the same position, not smiling and looking bored the member will go somewhere else.
• Do not ignore the GUESTS, EXITS or FREE members in your chat! Some of them cannot chat however you can talk to them. They are potential members that may join you if you treat them nice.
• Make sure you are always “featuring” something in the camera frame, for example toys. You can also wear different costumes to keep things interesting.
• If you have to do anything that is not sexy, try to do it outside the camera frame so the members cannot see.
• Always find a way to say yes to every request, be inventive and creative when you are teasing the customers.
• Earn the 1on1 or tip before you ask for it.
• Keep all your toys handy, cleaned, and polished, etc? and ready to get into the action at the start of every show.
• Answer all requests right away. Customers want to make sure models won’t waste their time in private.
• Try to use the customer’s nickname often, especially when you ask them questions so they know you are talking directly to them.
• Spread your attention around the members in the chat. Make every customer want to take you away from the other people in the chat room.
• Blowing kisses might be the key to getting more private time.
• Make sure to let customers know when you are scheduled for your next couple of shifts.
• Remind your members that they can submit their email address to your homepage and be notified when you are online automatically. This is a good marketing tool for you. (Fanmail)
• Have fingers and toenails painted and sexy. Do not bite your nails as this looks bad in the close up shots.
• Try to change outfits during your shift. It creates variety and members will enjoy you and your picture archives more.
• Learn to use the camera to your advantage. Move the camera regularly so your “last hour archive” looks exciting and lively!

Getting Regular Customers

With every single 1on1 show that you get, you should ask your visitor:

1. What their real name is?
2. Ask your visitors where they are from with details.

The closer you get and the more you know about someone, the harder they will fall for you.  That is how you gain loyal and exclusive customers.  This makes the experience much more personable for the viewer.  People will feel a lot closer to you being able to hear your voice.

If you are new model and feel uncomfortable using audio, do not worry.  Just like anything, it gets better and easier the more you practice and gain experience as a performer.  This is your show; you are the star.

We do advertise with audio so it is absolutely necessary that every single room that is live have audio!

Never Say No In Your Chat Room

This is so important and it takes creativity on your part to answer all questions with positive responses.  We know it sounds impossible to always say yes, so let us give some examples of how to say “yes” to customers’ questions (even when your REAL answer is no.)

A) Customer: “Do you do anal?”
Model: “Customer, I’m an anal virgin, will you go slow with me in a private show if I try for you?”

B) Customer: “Do you escort?” or “Are you a prostitute?
Model: “Customer, I have never tried it. I really like working as a Model as I do this for fun and it helps, as I am always horny

C) Customer: “Do you fist in 1-on-1?”
Model: “Customer, I can try for you, so far I can only do 3 fingers.”

D) Customer: “Do you pee in your Private show?”
Model: “Customer, Ummmmm I can always try for you “customer’s name” – LOL”

E) Customer: “Do you do 2 girl or 2 guy shows?”
Model: (If you don’t do 2 girl or 2 guy shows) “Customer, I could do it or i will be interested to do it , but first i need to know you better and then i can open an account for couple .”

F) Customer: “Do you have a website?”
Model: “Customer, I’m not allowed to talk about other sites in the open room… cum see me alone and let’s talk.”

G) Customer: “Do you do double penetration in Private shows?”
Model: “Customer, I’ve never done it, will you go slow with me and cum teach me in my room?”
Model: (If you don’t have any toys) “I’m going to buy some toys soon.
Customer, do you want to cum in my private room and suggest what kind of toys I should get and how YOU would like me to use them?”

Abusive Customers

No need to explain to you what an abusive customer is.  You’ve seen all kinds of them in your open room.  This suggestion is radical and takes some amount of pride swallowing but it’s very effective and you will ultimately win.  Abusive customers are all looking for the same thing: ATTENTION. They go for the negative attention, one reason they act like this is that they are so good at getting what they want, negative attention.

We know your first impulse is to kick them out, but try this formula.  Compliment their behavior and then ask a personal question.

For Example

Customer: Customer comes in your chat and types in all caps saying:
“SHOW ME PUSSY/COCK BITCH!”

Model: “Customers name, Oh my you are so demanding, I like that, where are you from?”

We can almost guarantee this will catch them off-guard.  It is the VERY last thing they expected to hear from you.  The typical answer they give to this response is “I’m from Chicago, why?”  This is much easier than doing what we call “Swatting a Hornet.”  When you take the negative approach with them and bitch them out and kick them out of your open room, they come back being more of a problem and even more annoying.  It’s a lot more fun to control these types than making a fight with them.

As a performer, you should always try to use your talent and ability to convert a hostile or rude viewer into potential customer who is just dying to see you in a 1on1 show just for him.
